We don't have much of a history with Solly before the fire, as we acquired him from Arabian Horse Rescue just six weeks earlier. Each of the three horses suffered as a result of the wildfire. They all were starved nearly to death at their third "refuge," and developed skin infections. Additionally, Solly's illness was exacerbated to the point he is now on expensive daily medication, and sustained an injury to his foot (more on that in video description).
